We operate under the premise that we are multi-dimensional and we are at our best when we do things to develop every aspect of who we are.  Our programs are designed with this in mind, allowing youth and young adults to grow in each area.

You can change the future for our youth!  Click here to find out specific ways you can make a difference.

Study room and computer lab allows youth to study, participate in GED prep classes and apply for jobs.

Full service kitchen allows youth to get something to eat while connecting with friends and supportive adults in a warm environment.  Family styles meals are an opportunity for youth to experiment with cooking and establish a sense of belonging.

Our gathering spaces allow youth and young adults a place to gather for rest, relaxation and group interaction.  A shower and access to clothing and other necessities allows youth to take care of basic needs in an environment that is supportive.

We cannot always build the future for our youth, but we can build our youth for the future.

In line with Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs, we subscribe to the Housing First Model, believing that when one's basic needs are met, one is able to stabilize and obtain independence.  CYO seeks to work with the community to provide these basic needs for our youth, believing doing so will lead our youth to a life of purpose and success.

The CYO Host Home Program is an "outside-the-system" community and volunteer-based response to youth homelessness.  It is a transformative approach to providing housing and support to youth and young adults, while also building community and sharing resources.

Professional, individualized case management empowers youth to focus on their strengths, identify their goals and access vital services such as physical and mental health, educational, employment and supportive services.

Professional counseling enables youth to work through the trauma of housing instability and other issues which are contributing to their current homelessness.

If you want to touch the past, touch a rock.  If you want to touch the present, touch a flower.  If you want to touch the future, touch a life.
